Our history

Established in 1991 under Italian Law 19/1991, Finest S.p.A. was created to promote economic cooperation with Eastern European countries during a transformative era following the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Founded to facilitate investments and cooperation agreements with former Soviet bloc territories, Finest has guided Northeast Italian businesses in expanding into new markets, playing a pivotal institutional and strategic role during a period of rapid globalization. This support has laid the foundation for the international leadership of numerous multinational groups based in the Triveneto region.

Since 2014, Finest’s scope has expanded to include Mediterranean countries, aligning with its mission to support internationalization and promote growth in neighboring markets through nearshoring and friendshoring strategies.

Today, Finest operates in 44 countries, covering a strategic region for Triveneto businesses seeking cross-border growth. Over 34 years, Finest has become a trusted partner for Northeast Italian entrepreneurs, offering tailored financial solutions and specialized expertise. With a capital base of €150 million, we have supported over 680 international operations, including equity investments, financing, and subscriptions to bonds and debt securities, with a total value exceeding €470 million. These efforts have benefited small, medium, and large enterprises across all economic sectors in the region. Currently, Finest manages a portfolio of over €100 million across 60 foreign ventures.
